Although I am a  California Native with quite a few stickers on my suitcase, Durango has quickly grown to feel like home. Growing up playing soccer and running track, I eventually realized there was an imbalance to my workout routine when I went to my first hot yoga class. I was 19 when I walked into Bikram Yoga of Santa Rosa and it has been a staple to my physical diet ever since. I started by taking classes once a week but the need for heat and movement and breathe quickly spread over my life like wildfire. I started work-trade at my home studio in 2012 while keeping a steady practice of 5 days a week.

I then began to travel internationally off and on for 6 years and each time took my practice with me exploring and discovering the different studios and types of yoga offered in a variety of new countries and communities. In 2020 as the world spun off kilter I took an interest in Teaching. Under direction of my long-time teacher and Friend, Elias Gaitan, I completed my Radiant Fusion Flow (Vinyasa Flow) 108 hour Teacher Training in July 2021 and started teaching for my home studio that very week. I then studied to complete my Hot26&2 training a few months later. I have always believed that one of the greatest methods of learning is to teach and that couldn’t be proven more true than my experience with my personal practice.

I was drawn to Durango for the more wild and rugged way of life, the mountains, and good food. By summer you can find me exploring the endless hikes with my mutt, plunging into the river with my sweet guy, being a novice MMA student  and tending to my herbs and fruit trees at home. By winter I'll be shreddin mad powder at Purgatory until the very last chair.

I feel so welcomed by the Sweaty Buddha community and honored and privileged to be a part of the family. So stoked to see y'all in the hot room!
