Hot Vimana Yoga

Hot Vimana combines traditional yoga postures and sequencing with pranayama and meditation designed for all ages and levels of ability. We practice in a room heated between 97 and 104 degrees approximately, to increase circulation and warm your muscles. The heat allows for a much deeper workout, which amplifies the natural healing process of the body in many ways: it improves flexibility, allowing you to effectively stretch your muscles, it increases circulation, creating amazing cardiovascular benefits, it increases strength and flexibility, which helps speed recovery and prevent injury, and it clears your mind, and frees you of tension and stress. The deep sweating also regenerates your skin and purifies and cleanses the entire body by flushing toxins at the cellular level.

 

Rocket Yoga

Please note that for the Summer the Rocket classes will be non-heated. The world famous Rocket routine was created by Larry Shultz in the 80’s, given its name by Bob Weir of The Grateful Dead, because "it gets you there faster". This upbeat, energetic and fun practice is a reconfiguration of the first and second series of Ashtanga vinyasa yoga. The sequence is rooted in eastern tradition but creatively presented to fit the modern thinker. Designed to work with the nervous system, building strength in both the body and mind, lifting up your energy and creating a transformative practice to aid you in feeling more alive.  All levels welcome and encouraged, come experience your launching point.

Hot Vinyasa Yoga

Vinyasa translates into flow and in a vinyasa yoga class you will move and groove. These classes link movement with breathe and each posture will creatively move into the next. Practicing this mindful movement in heat aids the muscles to stretch and strengthen within their full range of motion. Heat improves circulation and metabolism as well as working the cardiovascular system. Sweating also helps in detoxifying the body and rejuvenates the skin. Each class will be a little different according to the teacher. Come ready to experience dynamic and fun movement!

 

Happy Hour Flow

Join Kara for an energetic hour of mindful vinyasa flow mixed with some traditional balancing poses. A perfect combination of movement and stillness to focus the mind, move the energy and get motivated.

 

Hot Core 26

Your teacher will lead you through a well rounded class that offers the more traditional hot yoga style. This class will have regular sequences that become familiar to students but incorporates variations to modify and intensify or challenge the body by altering the pace or duration of the poses, and the frequency that they are repeated. It blends strength, flexibility, balance, cardio and physical and mental stamina in one session.
